This skull is finished differently to the rest of the decorated bone range. Sprayed black and decorated with Isar's bindrune drawn in gold, it is a piece that announces itself visually before it is understood symbolically. The black and gold together are deliberate: darkness as a ground, gold as the thing that pushes through it. Self growth and protection rendered not just in runic intention but in the materials themselves.

The bindrune Isar designed for this skull holds two intentions that belong together. Protection creates the conditions for growth. Growth gives protection its purpose. One without the other is incomplete, and the composition treats them accordingly, a single unified symbol rather than two separate ideas sharing a surface.
