TROLLSERKER.

This design draws inspiration from the Vendel helmet plate of the 14th grave mound - one of the most striking artefacts from pre-Viking Scandinavia. From that fragment of bronze and story, the Trollserker emerges: a towering troll-warrior, tattooed with the Jötnar godmask, marked with hidden runes, and crowned in Northern myth.

Every line of the artwork pays homage to its archaeological roots, while reimagining them through Isar Oakmund’s modern hand. The result is both historic and otherworldly - a bridge between ancient legend and contemporary expression.

The Raven-shield motif, the veiled rune-texts, and the fierce expression of the troll all nod to the duality of the old world: protector and destroyer, order and wildness.
