GEBO HANGING DECORATION

The Gebo Hanging Decoration is a hand made wooden Yule ornament carrying Isar Oakmund's design of the Gebo rune, finished with twine for hanging. Small batch. When they are gone, they are gone.

Gebo is the rune of the gift, of the exchange between giver and receiver and the bond that forms in the giving. Not the object itself but the intention behind it - the relationship honoured, the care made visible, the act of saying here, this is for you. At Yule, when gifts are given and tables are set and the season is built around exactly that exchange, Gebo is perhaps the most natural rune of all to hang on the tree. It is the rune the season has always been about.

Hand made and hand finished. Twine included for hanging.
