Love Bound brings together two pieces of Norse art built around the same intention: a one of a kind hand decorated fox bone by May Oakmund and Love, Lust, Loss: A Collection of Bindrunes by Isar Oakmund.

The fox bone is a unique original. May Oakmund drew from the love chapter of Love, Lust, Loss to create the bindrune painted onto it, combining multiple bindrunes and weaving her own craft into the composition. The result belongs to this object alone and to whoever it's owner turns out to be. It cannot be remade. It cannot be restocked. What is in these photographs is what you receive.

Love, Lust, Loss is the book that the bone draws from. May Oakmund's collection of bindrunes covering love, lust and loss in all their forms, with each symbol broken down, explained and rooted in the runic tradition. Owning both means owning the source and the object it inspired, a rare thing.
