KAUNAN HANGING DECORATION

The Kaunan Hanging Decoration is a hand made wooden Yule ornament carrying Isar Oakmund's design of the Kaunan rune, finished with twine for hanging. Small batch. When they are gone, they are gone.

Kaunan is the rune of the torch, of the fire that illuminates, heals and drives back what the dark would otherwise claim. At Yule - the longest night of the year, the point at which the darkness is at its fullest extent - Kaunan on the tree is perhaps the most fitting rune of all. The candles on the table, the fire in the hearth, the light kept burning through the midwinter dark: Kaunan is the rune of all of it. The torch held against the night. Light as an act of will.

Hand made and hand finished. Twine included for hanging.
