The Midgard Serpent Viking Ring carries one of Norse mythology's oldest and most contested symbols onto the hand. Jörmungandr, the world-serpent, coiled around Midgard with his own tail in his mouth - an emblem the Vikings read as both threat and guardian, chaos held in balance. This ring is cast in bronze, with an open band that adjusts to fit.

Serpent imagery ran deep in Viking material culture - carved into rune stones, worked into brooches, wound around the prows of ships. The form lent itself to knotwork: circles, squares, endless interlace, all speaking to a serpent's role as a boundary-keeper between worlds and a warden of what a person held most dear. Because a snake sheds its skin and lives on, it also stood for renewal - death survived, not death avoided.

The open design means one ring fits a genuine range of finger sizes - no guesswork, no return for a resize.
