BRONZE SHIP WITH HANGING OARS PENDANT

Inspired by a hanging pin found in Hallstatt/Austria, the original exhibited 
at the British Museum in London.

Hallstatt was the oldest settlement of the Celts, and over 1,000 graves have been found. The Celts were brave warriors but were also skilled farmers and traders, making weapons, tools and jewellery from metal. 

Some Celts sailed to England and settled there.
