SILVER GOTLAND CRYSTAL SMALL PENDANT

This pendant comes from a Gotland silver treasure from the Viking Age, approximately
800 - 1,100 AD. 

Apart from being worn as a valuable item of jewellery, the crystal was probably also used as a magnifying glass, and for navigation.
