FREYA'S HEART: VIKING LOVE HEART PENDANT.

Found as a belt rivet on Born holmand Gotland, dated to approx. year 900.Many pieces of jewellery were made in stone moulds, into which the blacksmith poured the molten metal and let it cool.  He could use the moulds again and again, and the principle is still found in jewellery making.Amulet for love (the heart) and fertility, life force and renewal(the spirals).Vikings approx. 800 - 1,100 AD.
