HAND OF TYR T-SHIRT

The Hand of Tyr Tee is a black crew-neck t-shirt carrying one of the great moments in Norse mythology rendered in Isar Oakmund's signature style: Fenrir's blood-dripping open jaws closing around the arm of Tyr, knotwork and bindrunes tattooed from shoulder to fingertip, hand raised and middle finger extended toward whoever is looking. Viking art, dark humour and genuine mythological weight in one design.

The story behind it earns the attitude. Tyr was the only god brave enough to place his hand in Fenrir's mouth as a pledge of good faith while the other gods bound the wolf with Gleipnir. They had no intention of releasing him. Fenrir bit the hand clean off. The design captures that moment from Tyr's perspective: the wolf's jaws open and dripping, the arm decorated in the kind of knotwork and bindrunes that belong on a god, and the finger raised toward Asgard and everyone in it who put him in that position. Courage without reward tends to come with opinions.
