INGWAZ HANGING DECORATION

The Ingwaz Hanging Decoration is a hand made wooden Yule ornament carrying Isar Oakmund's design of the Ingwaz rune, finished with twine for hanging. Small batch. When they are gone, they are gone.

Ingwaz is the rune of the god Ing, of inner reserves, gestation and the potential energy held quietly before it is released. It is the rune of what is stored rather than spent, of the seed in the ground before spring, of the work done in private that makes the eventual emergence possible. At Yule, the darkest and most inward point of the year, Ingwaz is the rune of the season itself - the long stillness before the return, the energy gathered in the dark. What is held now becomes what arrives in spring.

Hand made and hand finished. Twine included for hanging.
