SUNEATER T-SHIRT

The Sun Eater T-Shirt carries Fenrir at the moment Norse mythology builds toward: the great wolf with his jaws open around the sun, the composition exploding outward in dense knotwork and bindrunes across the chest. Red, white and black on black. Designed by Isar Oakmund.
In Norse tradition, Skoll is the wolf who chases the sun across the sky, and at Ragnarok he catches it. The design does not depict a creature in pursuit. It depicts the moment of arrival, the sun caught in Fenrir's jaws and the knotwork of the world unravelling into the space around it. Bindrunes sit embedded in the composition, woven into the body of the wolf and the chaos of the surrounding interlace, a reminder that even destruction in Norse cosmology is not without structure and intention.
The red and white print on black gives the design a ferocity that a single colour cannot. The wolf is rendered in deep red, the knotwork in red and white, the whole composition carrying the heat of something inevitable.
