THE THIRD CHAPTER IN A GROWING LEGACY.
Nordic Tattoo Volume 3 brings together the work of more than 100 Viking and historical tattoo artists, curated by Northern black. This volume continues the exploration of ancient European art traditions, highlighting creators who specialise in styles such as Salin, Ringerike, Celtic knotwork, and other early historic forms.
Each page is dedicated to a single artist, giving space for their craft and their interpretation of Europe’s deep artistic heritage. As the historical tattoo movement continues to grow, Volume 3 celebrates the dedication, research, and creativity found in this expanding community.
Created with care and focus, this collection is both a reference and a record of the artists keeping Europe’s oldest art traditions alive through modern tattoo work.
A NOTE FROM ISAR OAKMUND
"When you buy this product, you are helping us build a community in growth - The Viking/European historical tattoo community. When I started tattooing, this was a tiny segment of the tattoo industry, it now boasts more than 150 artists, and is ever expanding and improving.
We are working hard to promote the artists within the genre, ensuring their creative survival and space to grow, and to create accessibility for everyone interested, by creating The Nordic Tattoo book featuring the many artists, as well as building tattoo events and sharing information about the genre. This is hard work, and it is costly work, so all your help is highly appreciated!
We thank you for your support!"
