The bindrune painted onto this skull was designed by Isar as a complete working blessing for the home, drawing on a carefully chosen set of runes and symbols. Algiz stands as the primary ward, a shield against negative forces and harm. Thurisaz brings directed protective power, a force that stands at the threshold and does not yield. Othala grounds the blessing in the home itself, the ancestral hearth, the space that is yours. Ansuz invites clarity, wisdom and good communication into the household. Berkano nurtures growth, warmth and the sheltering of those within. Gebo speaks to the balance of give and take, the harmony between the people who share the space. Double and triple Tiwaz are bound together, layering justice, honour and unwavering strength into the composition, a deliberate amplification of everything a home should stand on.
Finished with a small decorative dotwork Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor, protector of Asgard and of the homes and people within it. It's presence here is not incidental. It is the seal on the whole piece.
Isar conceived and painted this bindrune by hand for this specific skull and this specific purpose. It is an original work of runic art, not a reproduction, not a template.
