The Design

 

Thor is known as a God of fury, war and thunder, son of Odin and Jord, a goddess-like being of Jotnarr heritage.

Thor is the protector of Asgard and the enemy of trolls and giants, often found in duels and direct conflict with their chaotic kind, and on occassion embroiled in the chaos caused by Loki!

For this design, Isar used inspiration from the multitude of godmasks found around Scandinavia and England, in particular the Mammen styled Aros mask, as well as the Gokstad ship mask and the Sogn & Fjordane amulet. As well, of course, a copious amount of creative freedom to make it in his signature style!
