BLESSINGS OF THE SOLSTICE - HAND DECORATED ROE DEER SKULL
SOLSTICE BLESSINGS
Blessings of the Solstice is a one of a kind hand decorated roe deer skull by Isar Oakmund, mounted onto a wall hanging and ready to display. There is one. This is it. When it sells, it is gone.
The solstice is one of the most significant moments in the Norse ritual calendar. The turning point of the year, when darkness reaches its furthest extent and light begins its return, or when light peaks and the long descent toward winter begins. Both are marked. Both matter. The bindrune Isar designed and painted onto this skull was built to carry the blessing of that turning, a runic composition that honours the solstice as the threshold it is and asks for its gifts to fall on whoever keeps this piece.
The roe deer is a creature whose life is shaped by the rhythm of the seasons more completely than almost any other. Its cycles of growth, rest and renewal mirror the turning of the year that the solstice marks. It is not an arbitrary vessel for this blessing. It belongs to it.
Isar drew and painted the bindrune directly onto the skull by hand. Mounted onto a wall hanging, the piece arrives complete and ready to find its place.
For the home that marks the solstice. For the altar that turns with the year. For the practitioner who understands that the old calendar still holds.
Ethically sourced. Hand decorated by Isar Oakmund. Mounted on wall hanging, ready to display. One of a kind, not repeated, not restocked.
